Vertu Website Re-build

Complete re-build of Vertu Motors's flagship e-commerce website. Migrating from a custom in-house CMS, to a modern platform consisting off Hygraph, Astro, React and Algolia. Improving, SEO, performance and sales and user experience across the site.

I am one of the leading developers in the 18 person cross-functional team owning this project. Mentoring and coaching the team on new technologies, best practices and ensuring high code quality and maintainability throughout the Frontend and Infrastructure sides of the project.

Features include: Location search, filtering by manufacturer and services, dealer details pages with integrated Google Maps and contact forms.

Complete re-build of the main navigation component for the Vertu Motors and Bristol Street Motors websites. Integrates to-the-minute live vehicle stock data, Algolia search, and a new mega menu system to improve user experience and increase sales.

RYA

Design Library

I designed and built A single page application for RYA employees to consult while creating content for the RYA website. Users can look up items via a fuzzy search feature as well as a listed navigation.

Users are able to copy HTML code snippets, colour codes, see previews of components, and download logos. All to improve the workflow of website contributors whilst maintaining brand guidlines.

50 Years of RYA Training

One of the first Vue 2 applications I built for the RYA which celebrates it's 50 year history for recognised training schemes. Users can click and swipe through the years and discover the many milestones of the RYA's rich history. Incorporates custom animations and transitions for an engaging experience.
